What we keep, and what we don't.
LecturFlow turns your study material into audio. That means we hold your material and your email address, and nothing else we don't need.

What we collect
- Your email address. Either you type it and we send a sign-in code, or you use Google and Google tells us. It identifies your account and is how we could reach you about the service.
- Material you upload. The original file and the text extracted from it. We keep the text so a lesson can be rebuilt without asking you to upload again.
- Lessons we generate. The script, the questions and the audio file.
- How you answer. Which questions you got right or wrong, and when each is due to come back. This is the feature, not analytics — without it nothing would return on your next commute.
- Feedback you send. When you flag a question or report a mispronunciation, we store what you flagged and where.
We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. The only cookie we set is the one that keeps you signed in.
What we do with it
Your material is sent to Google's Gemini API to write the script and produce the narration — that is the product working, and it happens only for material you explicitly choose to build a lesson from. Uploading material alone sends it nowhere.
We do not sell anything, we do not share your material with other users, and nothing you upload is used to train anyone's model by us.
Who processes it
| Service | What for | What it sees |
|---|---|---|
| Vercel | Hosting and content delivery | Requests to the site, including IP address |
| Supabase | Accounts, database and file storage | Email address, uploaded material, generated lessons, progress |
| Google (Gemini API) | Writes the lesson script and the narration audio | The text extracted from material you choose to build a lesson from |
| Google (Sign-In) | Optional sign-in method | Your email address and name, if you choose that method |
Accounts, material and lessons are stored in the European Union. The speech and script models run on Google infrastructure.
How long we keep it
Until you delete it. Removing a piece of material or a lesson deletes it. Deleting your account deletes everything: material, extracted text, audio, answers and the repetition schedule.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to erase it. Deleting your account from Settings does the last one immediately and completely. For the others, write to szima.akos1@gmail.com.
Children
LecturFlow is built for university and secondary-school students and is not intended for children under 16.
Changes and contact
If we change what we collect or who processes it, we will update this page and the date at the top. Questions go to szima.akos1@gmail.com.
